Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a registered nurse to manage a medical/disability caseload in a fast-paced environment. You will apply clinical expertise to ensure appropriate healthcare, aiming for timely return to work and cost-effective outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, clinical judgment, and coordination with medical professionals, field staff, and attorneys. Prior orthopedic/ICU/home care experience is valued, with hybrid work guidelines applicable.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where the position is based (and other required states)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience; orthopedic, emergency, critical care, home care or rehab experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of medical/disability cases using the Nursing Process to promote return to work and maximum medical improvement.
• Communicate with injured employees, medical professionals, field claims staff, attorneys and others to obtain information and coordinate care.
• Apply clinical expertise to develop return-to-work plans and coordinate medical treatment.
• Utilize internal/external resources (UR, peer review, field claims, medical director consults, rehab) to optimize outcomes.
• Follow guidelines from nurse manager and CCMU staff to resolve complex RTW issues and catastrophic injuries.
• Document time tracking accurately and promptly; contribute to timely case resolution.
