CorVel Corporation is seeking an onsite Telephonic Case Manager in Rogers, AR to coordinate medical case management and develop cost-effective care plans for ill or injured individuals.

The role requires nursing clinical expertise to assess treatment plans, communicate with physicians, and adjust plans as needed to support quality care and timely return to work. Strong collaboration with claims staff and providers is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN Licensure in state of operation.
• 3+ years of recent clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation.
• URAC recognized Case Management certification required within 3 years if not already present.
• Strong background in cost containment or utilization review helpful.
• CCM or CIRS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical case management with patient, physician, providers, employer, and referral source.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient progress.
• Evaluate treatment plan for medical necessity and cost effectiveness.
• Discuss current and alternative plans with physician.
• Make medical recommendations to payer.
• Coordinate delivery of durable medical equipment and nursing services.
• Devise cost-effective medical care strategies.
• Prepare organized reports within set timeframes.
