Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an RN Case Manager in Kansas City, MO to coordinate care from admission to discharge and ensure alignment with medical needs and recovery goals.

The role requires 2 years of acute case management experience, MO/compact RN license, and BLS certification, with familiarity in Meditech, Midas, and WellSky. Assignment is 12 weeks, 8:00–4:30, M-F with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• MO/compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years case management experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Acute hospital experience in the specialty area within the past year with no more than 90 days of break.
• Recent acute discharge planning experience.

POSITION SUMMARY – RN Case Manager

POSITION DUTIES

Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge, ensuring that treatments, services, and resources align with each patient’s medical needs and recovery goals. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and external providers to remove barriers to care, streamline transitions, and support safe, efficient discharge planning.

Minimum Required Qualifications –

• MO/compact RN license
• BLS
• 2 years case management experience in an acute hospital setting
• Acute hospital experience in specialty during the past year with no more than a 90-day break
• Recent acute discharge planning experience

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT

12 weeks

SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK
