Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, part of Providence Health & Services, seeks an experienced Manager RN Case Management to lead the Case Management Department. You will coordinate care delivery, discharge planning, and utilization management while supervising a team of case managers and social workers.

This role requires a WA RN license, a Master's degree in a healthcare-related field, and 6 years in case management with 2 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business/social work/nursing/healthcare related field (Required).
• Washington Registered Nurse License (Required).
• 6 years of experience in Case Management (Required).
• 2 years of Supervisory/management experience, preferably in Case Management (Required).
• Experience in problem-solving and conflict resolution (Required).
• Experience in providing adult education to multi-disciplinary staff (Required).
• CCM or ACM (Preferred).
• Case Management and supervisory/management experience in an acute care hospital (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Daily management and organization of all activities and staff within the Case Management Department, including care coordination, case management, discharge planning, utilization management, social work services, and pre-admission case management.
• Serve as liaison between patients/families, department staff, physicians, healthcare team, community agencies, managed care representatives, skilled nursing facilities, and community agencies.
• Establish, implement and monitor best practices and clinical standards to ensure quality patient care and financial integrity.
