Job summary

Forest-City-Nursing-and-Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role in Illinois. The RN coordinates and supervises nursing care on the assigned unit, ensuring appropriate staffing, timely medication administration, and high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active Illinois RN license, strong clinical judgment, leadership abilities, and excellent communication with staff, physicians, and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with staff.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Assign and supervise nursing staff based on unit needs.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments per physician orders.
• Conduct daily rounds and ensure Care Plan compliance.
• Communicate with physicians and families regarding resident status.
• Maintain accurate documentation and narcotic accountability in the EMR.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and policy compliance.
• Complete incident reports and coordinate resident transfers as needed
