Job summary

AA Healthcare Management is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois to provide high-quality nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing functions performed by CNAs. The RN will coordinate care with other disciplines and ensure adherence to Federal and State regulations.

The role involves medication administration, documentation, admissions/discharges, safety reporting, care planning participation, and ongoing education to support residents’ needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and active RN license in Illinois.
• Strong nursing skills and ability to coordinate care.
• Willingness to participate in continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by the physician.
• Review medication orders for completeness of information and accuracy.
• Transcribe physician orders.
• Document all resident information as necessary, notifying physician and family as needed.
• Assist in the Admission/Discharge process.
• Complete accident/incident reports, follow up investigation process.
• Be familiar with the care planning process and participate in care conferences, updating as needed.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with all disciplines to ensure that all aspects of resident needs can be adequately maintained.
• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Be willing to participate in continuing education programs.
