Job summary

Complete Care Management in Illinois is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to lead our nursing team on the unit, ensure high-quality resident care, and drive daily operations.

You will mentor staff, coordinate care plans, and maintain compliant documentation. Qualified candidates hold an active IL RN or LPN license, CPR certification, and at least 2 years in long-term/geriatric care plus 1 year in leadership. Day shift with on-call every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN or LPN license with no disciplinary actions.
• Current CPR certification.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• At least 2 years in long-term/geriatric care.
• At least 1 year in nurse leadership or management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular nursing rounds to monitor resident care and safety.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to implement care plans and discharge planning.
• Lead and mentor shift staff; oversee meds, treatments, and clinical tasks.
• Support staff development, evaluations, coaching, and positive unit culture.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and regulatory documentation.
