Job summary

This role requires current RN licensure in the state, CPR certification, and at least six months of long-term care experience. Candidates must comply with HIPAA and facility policies; shifts include day or evening.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state employed.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Adheres to HIPAA and facility policies; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and monitors residents to ensure quality care.
• Documents care and resident status in clinical records according to guidelines.
• Communicates with residents’ physicians and families on care plans.
• Administers medications and maintains narcotic records as required.
• Develops and updates patient care plans for long-term needs.
