Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking an Registered Nurse to supervise staff, monitor residents, and implement patient care plans in a long-term care setting in Oregon. The RN will administer medications, document care, and communicate with physicians and families to ensure high-quality care.

Qualified candidates will hold an active RN license in Oregon and have BSN preferred; CPR certification is typical for the role and six months’ long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and nursing degree credentials required by state law.
• Experience with long-term care or similar clinical settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and resident confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and monitor patients to ensure care plans are followed.
• Develop and implement patient care plans for long-term needs.
• Administer medications and manage medication safety.
• Document care in clinical records per guidelines and regulations.
• Communicate with residents' physicians and families as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of nursing documentation and orders.
