Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• Current RN Licensure in the State employed.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides the highest quality of patient care to facility residents/patients.
• Documents care performed and observations in the clinical record according to guidelines.
• Communicates with resident’s physician and coordinates care.
• Administers medications as ordered and documents administration.
• Maintains narcotic records accurately and handles pharmaceuticals per policy.
• Assists with emergency measures and CPR when needed.
