Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across hospital and clinic settings in Minnesota. The role uses the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care for individuals and populations.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Minnesota, with BLS and 2+ years of clinical experience preferred; a bachelor's degree in nursing is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of two years' clinical experience preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required and must be obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collect and relay information to providers on hospital and clinic patients.
• Develop and provide individualized patient education based on assessed needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plan.
• Coordinate patient care across the continuum with the inter-professional team.
• Assist with disease registries and follow up with patients not meeting goals.
• Provide services focusing on health and wellness.
• Apply population health care management strategies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Graduate from an accredited nursing program

Minimum of two years' clinical experience

Current unencumbered RN license with Minnesota State Board of Nursing

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
