Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support pre- and post-operative pathways with no direct bedside contact; patient interactions occur via phone. The role emphasizes care coordination, education, and collaboration with physicians, anesthesiologists, and care managers in a fast-paced hospital and clinic setting.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, a BSN is strongly preferred, and BLS is required within six months.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within six months.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized care.
• Develops and provides patient education and coordinates care across the continuum with inter‑professional teams.
• Manages disease registries and follows Sanford approved clinical guidelines to support health outcomes.
• Adheres to Nurse Practice Act, state regulations, and professional standards.
