Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized care using the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and a wide care team across all patient care phases.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the practice state (or NLC multi-state license), and ongoing competency certifications. 36 hours weekly, with shift variations, at Sanford Health facilities across the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license is required where practice occurs or multistate license if in an NLC state.
• Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Plan, coordinate and evaluate patient care across all phases including education, triage and other nursing interventions.
• Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable rules while upholding ANA standards and ethics.

Education

Graduate from an accredited nursing program

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)

Unencumbered RN license in state of practice or NLC multistate license

Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications
