Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA seeks an experienced Women’s Health NP or PA to join our Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. This outpatient role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with no after-hours call and an emphasis on comprehensive women’s health care.

You will perform histories and exams, manage prenatal care, implant contraception, and interpret tests, working within Epic EMR and a supportive network of providers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Women’s Health NP/PA experience; 3+ years preferred
• Obstetrics experience strongly preferred
• Active California NP or PA license; WH certification preferred
• Current BLS; NPI and DEA numbers

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Provide contraception implants (e.g., IUD, Nexplanon)
• Care for new OB patients and provide prenatal care
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
