Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will lead clinical teams, uphold the hospital’s standards, and support an environment focused on quality and service excellence.

Expect to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Emergency, Maternity, Cardiology, and ICU departments, delivering high-level nursing care with compassion and professionalism in a busy Las Vegas area facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
