Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. This role focuses on expanding knowledge, coordinating care, and delivering evidence-based nursing practice for a variety of patients.

The RN will document care, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, efficient discharge planning while maintaining competency and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma required.
• BSN in progress within three years of hire.
• Current RN license to practice at the assigned HMH location by hire date; BLS/CPR within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per current evidence-based policies and standards.
• Coordinate care with physicians, peers, and support services.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve outcomes.
• Communicate plans and progress with patients, families, and team members.
• Provide patient education and assist with safe transitions and discharge planning.

Education
