The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, CPR, and at least three years in a skilled nursing facility with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Nursing License to practice in Virginia.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of three years RN experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care management functions and employee performance assessments to assure quality care and compliance.
• Perform resident care duties on the assigned unit.
• Assist the DON with supervision of nursing personnel.
• Develop, implement and direct orientation programs for all facility personnel.
• Coordinate, develop, implement and evaluate educational programs.
• Participate in evaluation and improvement of facility services.
• Assist in recruitment, retention and orientation of qualified personnel.
