Job summary

SGMC Health in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5T Med/Surg Orthopaedic unit. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, coordinating plans with physicians, and supporting ongoing staff development.

Require current GA RN license and CPR certification, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred. This full-time position is on the Main Campus with a 7on/7off schedule, 3pm–11pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Georgia and CPR certification required.
• Relevant clinical experience with leadership or supervision preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop others and work well individually or as a team.
• Strong communication, prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with clinical equipment and hospital computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care on shift using the nursing process for all ages on the unit.
• Coordinate patient care plans with physicians and other disciplines.
• Maintain an environment that supports SGMC Health's mission and standards.
• Manage shift within budgetary parameters and supervise staff development.
• Support and mentor team members on assigned shift.
