Job summary

SGMC Health in Georgia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Program on a full-time weekend day shift. You will deliver high-quality patient care across age groups using the nursing process and collaborate with physicians and other disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in GA, CPR and ACLS certifications, and have leadership or supervisory experience. The hospital emphasizes mission, values, and opportunities for staff development and growth.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Georgia.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Ability to lead and develop others.
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Strong communication across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the delivery of quality patient care and provides patient care through implementation of the nursing process for all age groups on the unit.
• Coordinates patient’s plan of care with physicians and other disciplines.
• Maintains an atmosphere aligned with SGMC Health’s mission, vision, values, code of conduct, goals, policies and standards.
• Assists manager in operating the unit within established budgetary parameters.
• Supervises, manages and actively assists in staff development.
• Assists manager with unit operations as assigned.
