Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Intensive Care unit on the Main Campus in Georgia. This full-time 12-hour night shift 7p–7a role involves direct patient care, procedures, and care coordination with physicians and teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia RN license, ACLS within 12 months, and preferably 1 year of related experience, with strong teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills. Excellent benefits and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within the first 12 months of employment.
• One year of experience in a related specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through assessment and execution of the nursing process for all ages on the unit.
• Perform and assist with procedures and document care.
• Coordinate patient care plans with physicians and other disciplines.
• Maintain adherence to SGMC Health mission, values, and policies.
