Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care and collaborate with physicians and care teams to determine hospitalization needs. The role requires graduation from an accredited RN program and a GA license, plus at least 2 years of clinical experience.

Preferred BSN and CM certification, with excellent communication skills. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing School (RN).
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License.
• Two (2) years previous clinical experience.
• BSN
• Three (3) years of experience in case management, social services or related field.
• Certified Case Manager.
• Ability to interact with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to type accurately at an approximate rate of 30 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Works with neonate, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, families, medical staff and community agencies to determine the appropriate setting of care and appropriateness of hospitalization, as well as to assess post‑hospital care needs.
• Provide support to address social drivers of health.
