Job summary

UNC Health Campus Care at Carolina is a multi-specialty ambulatory clinic providing care for eligible students and spouses. The department schedules clinical assignments, coordinates daily operations, and ensures patient safety and high-quality care in a busy outpatient setting on UNC campus.

The role supports nursing supervision, policy development, and collaboration with physicians and APPs to adapt clinics to patient needs while maintaining regulatory and UNC Health standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in North Carolina
• Two years nursing experience in medical/outpatient setting preferred
• Ability to document clinical information and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinic assignments to ensure optimal coverage and patient flow
• Serve as a clinical/management resource and liaison between staff, physicians and manager
• Assist development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
• Provide direct patient care and maintain UNC Health standards
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and contribute to budget adherence
• Participate in performance and quality improvement activities
• Lead orientation and ongoing staff education; coordinate competency training
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs to tailor clinics to patient needs and ensure policy adherence
