Qualifikationen

• RN license in North Carolina is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Two years of RN experience, with one year in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred.
• Education: Nursing Diploma, ADN or BSN is required.

Aufgaben

• Coordinates clinical assignments daily to ensure optimal coverage and patient flow and documents in patient care records.
• Acts as a clinical/management resource and liaison among staff, physicians and management for patient care and department operations.
• Assists in developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Delivers direct patient care and maintains UNC REX Healthcare standards of excellence.
• Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and helps manage budget and cost containment.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and participates in quality and performance-improvement activities.
• Develops orientation plans for new staff and coordinates staffing, schedules and ongoing education.
• Collaborates with physicians and APPs to tailor clinics to patient population needs and update procedures accordingly.
