Job summary

UNC Faculty Physicians in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate all clinical care across the UNC Family Medicine Center clinics, ensuring safety, patient and staff satisfaction, and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include daily staffing, policy implementation, staff development, and direct patient care; requires NC RN license and BLS certification. Farm to table? (asset). Onsite work, 40 hours per week, with UNC Health benefits.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in North Carolina with BLS certification.
• 2 years RN/LPN nursing experience; 1 year in medical office or outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to interpret clinical information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical assignments across multiple clinics to ensure optimal coverage and patient flow.
• Serve as clinical/management resource and liaison between staff, physicians and management.
• Develop and implement clinical policies, ensure adherence to regulatory standards (TJC, OSHA).
• Provide direct patient care and maintain UNC Rex Healthcare standards of excellence.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with budget and cost containment.
