The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and adhere to clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per the nursing process and policies.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency and skill level.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions (CPR/code).
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent hospital-acquired infections.
• Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed for patient safety.
• Engage in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
