Job summary

Grandview Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiovascular Stepdown (10 East) with multiple shift options (days, nights, weekends). A $5,000 sign-on bonus and student loan contribution up to $20k are available for full- and part-time roles, along with comprehensive benefits.

The RN provides patient-centered care across the nursing process, coordinates care with physicians and the team, administers medications, and ensures safety and quality outcomes in a high-acuity cardiovascular

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure in state or compact state.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Document patient care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop care plans.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
