Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, FL seeks an RN for the Additional Care Unit (3E/Telemetry Overflow). Work hours are nights, 7:00 pm–7:00 am, in a collaborative, patient-centered environment delivering state-of-the-art care.

You will provide direct nursing care, implement and revise care plans, monitor patients, administer medications, document findings, coordinate discharge needs, and educate families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification by AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Coordinate discharge needs and educate patients/families.
