Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Tele unit on a PRN/part-time daytime schedule. The RN will plan, supervise and evaluate nursing care, coordinate with the medical team and uphold patient rights and safety.

Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program, TN or compact-state RN license, current BLS and ACLS. ACLS within 30 days if not certified at hire. Two years in hospital settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required; ACLS must be obtained within 30 days if not certified on hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and evaluate nursing care.
• Oversee nursing process and correlate with medical plan of care and policies.
• Observe professional ethics and protect patient confidentiality.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and ensure patient rights.

Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and hospital. Participate in Performance improvement activities. Utilize the nursing process to oversee and provide age specific patient care. Communicate in an acceptable and easily understood manner. Develops, implements, and updates plan of care. Educates and adhere to patient bill of rights. Job Description Education: Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma preferred. Experience: Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred. Licenses/Certificates: Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required. Current BLS and ACLS required. If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.
