Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit on PRN nights. You will plan, supervise and evaluate nursing care and coordinate with the medical team.

The position requires graduation from an approved school of nursing and Tennessee or Compact state licensure, with current BLS and ACLS. ACLS may be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Two years of hospital or medical environment experience preferred; accountability for safety and adherence to patient rights.

Qualifications

General Responsibilities: Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical, or employment status or patients of Bradley Medical Center and their families. Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and hospital. Participate in Performance improvement activities. Utilize the nursing process to oversee and provide age specific patient care. Communicate in an acceptable and easily understood manner. Develops, implements, and updates plan of care. Educates and adhere to patient bill of rights. Job Description Education: Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma preferred. Experience: Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred. Licenses/Certificates: Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required. Current BLS and ACLS required. If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.
