Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab (PRN). You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and carry out physician and nursing orders to support high-quality outcomes.

This role requires Florida RN license, BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months, ADN or Diploma (BSN preferred), and at least 1 year of acute care experience to ensure readiness for interventional cath lab responsibilities and rapid

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license with 60-day Florida license timeline for relocations.
• BLS-AHA Provider certification required within 30 days of start.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of acute care experience required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

In this role you will:

• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required,
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
• ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of hire
• 1 year acute care experience required
• Interventional Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred
• 30 minute call window required
