Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to provide direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and protocols. You will assume responsibility for several patients during a designated time frame while working with a collaborative team.

In this role you will implement and monitor care plans, coordinate discharge planning, and ensure physician and nursing orders are carried out.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start.
• ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year acute care experience required.
• Interventional Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred.
• 30 minute call window required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
