SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care during the night shift in the Nursing Float department.

The role emphasizes applying the nursing process and collaborating with patients, families, and the interprofessional team to plan and deliver individualized care. The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree from an accredited program and RN licensure in applicable states, with experience in medical-surgical settings and float assignments

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Eligibility for RN licensure in applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Use nursing process to develop and evaluate plan of care and outcomes.
• Coordinate with interprofessional team to individualize patient care and advocate for patients and families.
• Educate patients and families to promote health and comfort.
• Maintain professional practice standards and contribute to a positive work environment.
