Responsibilities

As an RN on our campus float team at Good Samaritan Hospital, part of CommonSpirit Health, you will bring your clinical expertise to provide exceptional patient care across multiple units.

You’ll build trust through a positive attitude and reliability. Success in this role involves providing care for various disease processes in situations ranging from minor to critical, while remaining calm and positive.

Additional Responsibilities

• Monitoring patients’ conditions and assessing their needs
• Collaborating with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as per physicians’ orders
• Creating a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families
• Compensation: Base rate + shift differential
• Incentives: Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (for graduates within 5 years)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN nursing program
• Active RN license in Nebraska or nurse licensure compact
• BLS certification through American Heart Association upon hire
• ACLS certification required within 5 months of hire

Established in 1924, CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 268-bed regional referral center in Kearney, Nebraska, offering advanced trauma care, cardiac services, neonatal intensive care, cancer treatment, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and mental health services.

The campus float pool provides flexible staffing across departments, rewarding flexibility with premium differentials while maintaining standard shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Pay Range

$36.00 - $52.20 per hour
