Responsibilities

As an RN on our campus float team at Good Samaritan Hospital, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health, you will bring your clinical expertise to provide exceptional patient care across multiple units.

You’ll build trust in these interactions by presenting a positive attitude and being reliable. Your success in this role depends on your knowledge to care for various disease processes in a variety of situations, from minor to critical, while remaining calm and positive.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Monitoring patients’ conditions and assessing their needs
• Collaborating with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans
• Administering medications and providing treatments as per physicians’ orders
• Creating a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families

Compensation and Incentives

Base rate + shift differential

Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (for graduates within the last 5 years)

Nurse Residency

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN nursing program
• Active RN license in Nebraska or nurse licensure compact
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association upon hire
• ACLS certification required within 5 months of hire
• Additional credentials may be necessary depending on the care level required
