Corewell Health's Care Center Dearborn is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, applying the nursing process and patient-family centered care principles under the direction of Nursing and Operational Leadership. The role is full-time, day shift from 7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license is required
• 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• BSN preferred; if not BSN, new graduate must enroll in BSN within 1 year and complete within 5 years
• Specialty certification preferred

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of Work

The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree graduate (A.D.N.) or equivalent of an accredited school of nursing, required
• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD), preferred - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required
• 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience, required
• State of Michigan Registered Nurse license, required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification, required
• Specialty certification, preferred
