UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Registered Nurse for the Bone Marrow Transplant - Inpatient Oncology Unit. This full-time night-shift position requires delivering comprehensive nursing care in a highly specialized unit and participating in rotating weekends.

The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. A nursing degree and Texas RN license with BLS are required; BSN preferred. New graduates may apply per unit guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments for patients across age groups.
• Develops and implements an appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Prioritizes nursing interventions based on assessments and monitors changes in condition.
• Documents interventions and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educates patients and families and ensures discharge planning is in place.
• Provides orientation to the unit and involves patient/family in care planning.
