Job summary

Maple Heights Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend, part-time shifts in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Shifts are every other weekend with day or night options (7 am–7:30 pm or 7 pm–7:30 am).

The RN will assess patients, create care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families within state regulations and facility policies. Must possess an active RN license and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license per state requirements or eligibility.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral background a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Coordinate unit activities and communicate with the team.
