Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN seeks a compassionate RN for a 0.7 FTE role with Day/Eve shifts. You will provide holistic nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and develop and evaluate tailored care plans to improve patient outcomes.

Licensure in Minnesota and BCLS certification (or within 1 month) required; Behavioral Health experience preferred. Competitive hourly pay: $47.03–$70.87, with benefits and rotating weekends/holidays.

What You'll Do in This Role:

Deliver Comprehensive Care:

Provide nursing care that is holistic, compassionate, and centered on the individual needs of each patient.

Exercise Professional Autonomy:

Take responsibility for your nursing practice by making informed decisions and promoting health, recognizing that quality care is a universal right.

Collaborate with Healthcare Teams:

Work closely with patients and a multidisciplinary team (Behavioral Health Technicians, Nursing Assistants, Health Unit Coordinators, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, Counselors, and Psychiatrists) to assess concerns, identify issues, and integrate both subjective and objective data.

Implement and Evaluate Care Plans:

Develop tailored care plans, apply appropriate interventions, and continuously evaluate patient outcomes to enhance overall care quality.

This position will work the following:

0.7 FTE 8 Hour Shifts Day/Eve Rotation Every other weekend Additional $2.00 per hour upon hire into a float pool position

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Current nursing licensure in Minnesota Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.

Behavioral Health experience preferred

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to:

• ADN: $7,500
• BSN: $10,000
