Job summary

University Retirement Community in Davis, CA is seeking an experienced Assisted Living Manager RN to lead our resident care team in a 5-star skilled nursing setting.

You will manage scheduling, training, budgeting, documentation, and day-to-day operations while ensuring high care standards, conducting Level of Care assessments, and supporting staff recruitment and training to deliver exceptional person-centered care to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience in Assisted Living or long-term care.
• Prior supervisory experience in a similar setting.
• Valid RN license and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical records software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support care team—handling scheduling, training, and daily coordination.
• Manage staffing, budgets, and documentation to keep operations running smoothly.
• Address concerns and connect with residents and families to uphold high care standards.
• Perform Level of Care assessments and support quality and safety initiatives.
• Assist with hiring and training new team members to strengthen staff performance.
