Job summary

University Retirement Community in Davis, CA is seeking an experienced Assisted Living Manager RN to lead our resident care team in a 5-star skilled nursing setting.

You will manage scheduling, training, budgeting, documentation, and day-to-day operations while ensuring high care standards, conducting Level of Care assessments, and supporting staff recruitment and training to deliver exceptional person-centered care to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience in Assisted Living or long-term care.
• Prior supervisory experience in a similar setting.
• Valid RN license and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical records software.

Responsibilities

University Retirement Community is looking for a passionate Resident Care Coordinator to join our 5-star rated Skilled Nursing Facility! Our facility cares for 37 residents and is located within our expansive Continuing Care Retirement Community in Davis, California. We provide compassionate Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for individuals needing short-term rehabilitation or long-term healthcare assistance. About the Position:

In this role, you’ll help create a warm, person-centered Assisted Living community where residents receive exceptional, individualized care. You’ll lead and support our care team—handling scheduling, training, and daily coordination to make sure every resident gets what they need, when they need it. You’ll keep operations running smoothly by managing staffing, budgets, and documentation, and by jumping in to solve problems as they come up. You’ll also connect with residents and families, handle concerns, and make sure our care standards stay high. You’ll complete Level of Care assessments, support quality and safety efforts, and help hire and train new team members. Overall, you’ll be a key leader in creating a positive, reliable, and caring environment for residents and staff alike.

Wages:

$105,000 - $115,000 / annually DOE

About You

• Minimum of 2 years’ professional nursing experience in Assisted Living or a long term care setting.


• Prior supervisory experience in similar setting.


• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from accredited program, college, or university if required by the state in which you work


• Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.


• Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and medical records and clinical software programs.
