Lieutenant Colonel Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee the 5 East Inpatient Medical/Surgical Unit under Patient Care Services. The ANM will supervise staff, manage scheduling, unit coverage, and support the Nurse Manager in daily operations.

The role requires an RN license, graduation from an ACEN/CCNE-accredited program, and licensure in a U.S. state.

Qualifications

• Current active RN license in the United States.
• ACEN/CCNE-accredited nursing program graduation.
• Ability to obtain state licensure and work in a 24/7 inpatient unit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 unit operations as ANM reporting to the Nurse Manager.
• Provide staff supervision, scheduling, and coverage as needed.
• Lead orientation, training, and development of staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve care and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and organizational goals.
