Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to oversee operations for the Vascular Access Team and multiple clinics. You will support a 24/7 mobile vascular access team, optimize patient flow, and collaborate with providers and Centers of Excellence.

You will serve as a clinical expert, guiding the nursing process in direct patient care and leading staffing, scheduling, development, quality, and safety initiatives. A current U.S. RN license is required.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for direct patient care.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in the United States.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with ACEN/CCNE accreditation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide or supervise direct patient care following nursing process.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, development, quality, and safety initiatives.
• Support 24/7 mobile vascular access team and clinic operations.
• Collaborate with providers and Centers of Excellence to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure orientation, training, and professional development of staff.
