Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to oversee daily operations for the Vascular Access Team and Dermatology/Neurology/PM&R clinics.

You will support a 24/7 mobile vascular access team, coordinate patient flow, and collaborate with providers to ensure safe, high-quality care. The ANM provides clinical leadership, mentors staff, leads staffing, scheduling, development, and quality initiatives, and ensures adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required by VA standards.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with current licensure.
• State license in good standing or bridge program eligibility.
• Foreign education evaluated if applicable; equivalent credentials welcome.

Responsibilities

• Oversee orientation, training and development of staff.
• Provide input into staff evaluations and performance improvement.
• Improve communications to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and SOPs.
