Community Medical Centers seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to lead nursing teams within the Community Health System (CHS). The role combines advanced clinical expertise with leadership to support Nurse Managers and staff in delivering high-quality care.

The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, staff development, and operational oversight to ensure safe patient outcomes and excellent nursing services across units.

Qualifikationen

• Current and valid RN license to practice in California
• BLS certification required for Healthcare Providers
• ACLS certification required for designated departments
• NRP certification required for Women and Children/NICU
• PALS certification required for Pediatrics
• NICU RN certification required within 6 months for NICU role or transfer
• National certification related to specialty preferred

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for Community Health System (CHS) ensures the highest standards of evidence-based patient care while fostering a positive working environment for nursing staff. This position manages unit operations and supports the development of the nursing staff. By combining advanced clinical expertise and leadership skills, the Assistant Nurse Manager provides essential administrative and clinical support to Nurse Managers and unit staff, contributing significantly to delivering high-quality nursing services, excellence in nursing practice, and safe patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience
• Strong clinical experience in nursing; previous leadership or supervisory experience preferredLicenses and Certifications
• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• NATIONAL - National Certification related to specialty and applicable to role preferred
• For specific departments only:
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
• For Women and Children's only:
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program required
• For NICU only:
• NICRNC - Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse required within 6 months of hire or transfer into position
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire or transfer into position
• For Pediatrics only:
• PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification required
