The Registered Nurse (RN) Hospital Supervisor coordinates nursing and hospital services for the assigned facility while maintaining an awareness of issues that impact patient care. Responsible for patient flow, intra- and inter- facility patient transfers, and communication at the assigned facility, between other Community Health System (CHS) facilities, and outside entities. Additionally, this position directly supervises and provides leadership to resource and break nurses.
Education High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate requiredExperience Significant experience as a RN in an acute care setting required Leadership experience at the supervisor or manager level preferredLicenses and Certifications RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
