Arbors at Streetsboro is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) in Streetsboro, OH to support the Director of Nursing and supervise staff in a long-term care setting.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, quality of care, budgets, staff development, and collaboration with admissions and facility teams. BSN preferred; OH RN license preferred; seven years in nursing with supervisory experience required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• RN license in the state of employment preferred; LPN allowed if not RN.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Liaises between nursing units, admissions, and the DON.
• Plans and facilitates meetings to address resident care issues.
• Monitors weights weekly and monthly.
• Evaluates nursing staff and recommends training or work modifications.
• Ensures meals and breaks are compliant by staff.
• Assists in departmental budgeting and reports.
• Oversees chart audits and documentation processes weekly.
• Ensures annual competency evaluations and performance reviews are completed.
• Leads development and professional growth of nursing staff.
• Participates in nurse on call system and represents the DON as needed.
