Job summary

Azria Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) located about 30 minutes west of Des Moines. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented RN with strong leadership and supervisory skills to oversee the nursing staff and support the Administrator in delivering high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership and ability to lead a nursing team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across shifts.
• Ability to teach and lead by example on all shifts.
• Liaise with residents, families and support departments to plan for resident needs.
• Knowledge of practices, procedures and regulations governing long-term care facilities.
• Ability to implement and interpret department programs, goals, policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with state reporting and plans of corrections.
• Adherence to company policies including harassment and compliance.
• Demonstrates integrity and professionalism in all actions.
