Job summary

Azria Health in Iowa is seeking a results-oriented Director of Nursing (DON) to supervise nursing personnel and oversee the Nursing department, ensuring high-quality resident care.

Must be an Iowa-licensed RN with 5 years of supervisory experience in long-term care; will lead a team, train shifts, liaise with residents and families, and ensure compliance with state laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed RN in the State of Iowa.
• Active RN license in good standing throughout employment.
• Supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a nursing team.
• Able to teach and lead by example on all shifts.
• Knowledge of state regulations and compliance for long-term care.

• Plans, organizes, develops, and directs the Nursing department operations.
• Supervises nursing personnel and collaborates with the Administrator.
