Job summary

Azria Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN to support the Director of Nursing in leading our nursing department and ensuring the highest standards of resident care. You will mentor staff, improve outcomes, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.

This role emphasizes staff development, regulatory excellence, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes for residents in our care.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
• Minimum 2 years of nurse management experience.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, compliance requirements, and survey processes.
• Experience with state reporting and plans of correction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire nursing teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations.
• Support, mentor, and supervise nursing staff across all shifts.
• Promote a positive team culture through leadership and example.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs.
• Assist with surveys, audits, state reporting, and plans of correction.
• Help implement departmental goals, policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical care and resident satisfaction.
• Participate in staff development, education, and performance management.
