The Shores of Lake Phalen, a Sonida Senior Living community, in Maplewood, MN, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing/RN to lead nursing services and ensure high-quality resident care. You will implement policies, supervise staff, and coordinate resident assessments to optimize outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with at least two years in a senior living setting and two years of supervisory experience; location-based eligibility applies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two-year professional nursing experience in a senior living care setting.
• Two-years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
• Some states may allow for this to be an unlicensed position (WI, TX, SC).

Responsibilities

• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures reflecting current standards.
• Communicates and interprets policies to nursing staff and monitors implementation.
• Conducts resident assessments and suggests service packages for residents and families.
• Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care with appropriate staff coverage.
• Demonstrates knowledge of clinical quality indicators and guidelines.
• Reviews daily 24-hour reports to ensure timely responses to condition changes.
• Documents significant changes in resident condition and any incidents per policy.
